•1lb brussels sprouts
•2 cloves of garlic
•2 tbsp extra virgin oo
• 1/4 tsp of salt
•1/4 tsp of pepper
•Cuts ends off brussels sprouts
And begin to peel off the layers of leaves. If you can’t get them all off, peel down as far as you can and save remainder of the sprout for future roasting or steaming .
•Peel and chop garlic cloves
•In a large sauté pan, heat the olive oil on med-low heat, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
•Put brussels sprout leaves into sauté pan and coat with olive oil garlic mixture. Salt and pepper. Reduce to low and cover, Frequently stirring. Continue for about 15 mins or until sprout leaves have softened and are very green in color.
Serve as a side with your favorite fish or poultry dish.
